Frequently asked questions

(hopefully) All the answers to questions you might have.

How do I RSVP
To RSVP you will receive an email and WhatsApp message. If you haven't had one please check your junk folder/archived messages or get in touch and we will resend.
Please let us know whether you’ll be joining us by [RSVP DATE].

When you RSVP, please make sure you complete all the questions for each person in your party, including any dietary requirements or allergies, we want to make sure everyone is properly looked after (and well fed!) on the day.

Can I bring anyone else?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation, so please check there to see who we’ve reserved a place for.

With the exception of a small number of children involved in our day, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. If you’ll have a young baby at the time of the wedding and need to bring them with you, please get in touch with us so we can have a chat.

What should I wear?

We’d love everyone to dress up for the occasion, but there’s no need to be overly formal. Think smart and summery rather than casual - shirts, yes; shorts, no! Ties and three-piece suits, however, are definitely not required, as we WILL be lucky enough to have a sunny day!

Dresses, jumpsuits, suits and smart separates are all perfect - really, anything that feels special enough for a wedding while still being comfortable enough to celebrate in.

Some of the day will be outdoors, with grass and gravel underfoot, so please bear this in mind when choosing your shoes (stilettos may be a little adventurous!).

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive at the venue by 12 noon to give yourself plenty of time to get settled. We’ll be asking everyone to take their seats from around 12:20pm, ready for the ceremony to begin.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, although spaces are limited and there won’t be enough for everyone. Cars can be left at the venue overnight if you’d rather enjoy a drink (or two!) with us, but they’ll need to be collected by 1pm the following day.

Do I need to book a taxi?

Yes, you need to arrange their own transport home from the venue. We’d recommend booking your taxi in advance. We’ve included details of some local taxi companies below to make things a little easier.

Will there be a bar?

Do you know us at all?! We’ll be keeping you well watered throughout the celebrations, with drinks provided during the day. After the wedding breakfast, the paid bar will open and keep the drinks flowing until 11pm.

What time will the celebrations finish?

Our celebrations will wrap up at 11pm, when the music and drinks will finish. We’ll then have until 11:30pm to say our goodbyes and make our way out of the venue - so please arrange taxis and lifts with this in mind.

Will we be fed?

Absolutely! We love our food, so you certainly won’t be going hungry! There’ll be canapés and drinks after the ceremony from around 1pm, followed by our wedding breakfast in the afternoon, and we’ll be bringing out more food again in the evening to keep you fuelled for the dance floor.

Please remember to let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you RSVP so we can make sure there’s something delicious for everyone.

What about wedding gifts?

If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our honeymoon would really make our day.
